Description: 72,000-seat NFL stadium Owner: AEG Architect: Gensler CM/GC: TBD Budget: $1,000,000,000 Status: Suspended

Description:

ICON Venue Group served as the Owner’s Representative for AEG in their effort to build a NFL stadium and event center in Downtown Los Angeles on the L.A. Live campus. Farmers Field was designed to have permanent seating for 72,000 for NFL games and would allow for expandable seating to 76,250 for hosting marquee events such as Super Bowls and World Cup Soccer final matches. The project featured 218 suites including Private Suites, Bunker Suites, and Event Suites. Plans included 1,700,000 sf with a retractable roof and flexible event space to allow for even more capacity for large conventions in Downtown LA.

ICON led the successful Preconstruction Feasibility and Environmental Impact Review process for the project. In March 2015, AEG ended its effort to bring the project to fruition in Los Angeles.
