ICON Venue Group represented the Minnesota Vikings over the course of many years in their various pursuits to build a new NFL Stadium. In 2012, the Minnesota Legislature approved a plan for the Vikings and the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority to build a world-class, approximately 1.75 million sf stadium in downtown Minneapolis. The stadium has 70,000 seats with seating capacity expandable to 72,000 seats, approximately 135 suites and 8,250 club seats with lounges at field and concourse levels. ICON Venue Group served as Project Manager for the new stadium throughout the preconstruction phase of the project.

The facility was designed to accommodate a Super Bowl, amateur baseball, Major League Soccer, NCAA basketball, concerts, civic, community and not-for-profit events. The new stadium has a translucent ETFE roof and operable front doors with views to the Minneapolis sky line.
