It seemed appropriate that it was a windy day yesterday as members of the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Pepsi Center, and Kroenke officials, the mayor, governor and others celebrated the 10-year anniversary of the Pepsi Center.
After all, it seemed like the years just breezed by.
“All I can say is, ‘Wow, it’s been 10 years.’” said Tim Romani, who, when he was with Ascent Arena Company, original owners of the Pepsi Center, was in charge of design and construction of the arena. “I don’t know about the rest of you, but I don’t feel 10 years older.”
